Hi, I'm Ash — the person behind CalcPond.

I built this site because I was tired of the state of free online calculators. You search for something simple, like how many days until a date or what your monthly loan payment would be, and you land on a page that ambushes you with a pop-up, buries the actual tool below three ad blocks, and takes five seconds to load on your phone. The tool you came for is almost an afterthought. I wanted to build the opposite: a place where the calculator is the point, it loads instantly, and it respects both your time and your privacy.

What CalcPond stands for

Three things guide every page here. Speed — each page is hand-built with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, no heavy frameworks, so it loads in well under a second even on a slow phone connection. Privacy — the calculators run entirely in your browser, which means the numbers you type never leave your device. Your birthday, your weight, your salary: none of it is sent anywhere or stored. Honesty — every tool comes with a real explanation of the math it does, so you can check the working yourself rather than trusting a black box.

Who I am

I'm a solo developer who builds things in the evenings and on weekends. CalcPond is a project I maintain myself, one tool at a time, adding new calculators as I find the everyday questions people keep needing answers to. It isn't a faceless content farm — it's one person trying to make a genuinely useful, genuinely fast set of tools.

How CalcPond stays free
